- run: 6.2
- time: 56.34
- temp: 57
- road conditions: sunny, hilly

- comments: i didn't kick ass and take names, but i finished. 7th in my age group. this just proves that i can't take this stuff for granted. practice makes it better. i forgot how hilly this course was. it was breathtakingly beautiful. i saw my husband twice, clapping for me. i had to walk for about a minute at mile 5, got water at every water station because i had that sensation of possibly passing out more than once. a friend at church reminded me of the rabid masters group of women in this town and it helped put things in perspective. so did church, actually. no medal or trophy, just some hard earned humility.
