- comments: it's been raining solid for the past couple of days. the railroad tracks a few blocks from our house were wiped out due to flooding. it felt really good to be out there on such a green, chilly day. the knee is still bothering me a little, hours later. i iced it for a couple of minutes but haven't had time to sit with it. i'll try that tonight. let's see how it does when we take a family walk now...

- comments: passed the shop that an old friend just opened. i saw her inside, waved, and came in. we chatted for quite some time and it was really nice. then i came home and the door was locked. sat on the porch angrily for over a half hour. got over it and hugged my family when i saw them coming up the street. glad i got in the miles in the evening rather than trying to get up early saturday before the training at work.

- comments: i sweat buckets but it felt good. really good. my legs stung with the sweat and i hadn't even shaved them. i feel like i'm ready to handle summer running, just as soon as i get some more mesh-like singlets. had to bow out of the upcoming 10k because of yet another church commitment. this is a good one, though. i'll keep training like i'm going to run it because i can always find another one to run.
