• what i listened to when i ran: a hotel lights song on my iphone
• comments: my dad dropped me off at the tart trail and showed me on the map where i'd be if i headed west. i had on my new mizunos and happily trotted off on the trail. the iphone seemed so heavy compare to the shuffle. i ran past the back of some hotels, past the airport, past some cute neighborhoods and then finally hit the bay, where i decided to stop. it felt really good. i called my dad and he picked me up. everyone on the path was friendly and said hello, unlike home.
