Hi! I stumbled upon your blog by accident....but here I am reading a lot of it. I also recently started running and I find listening to music while running is ESSENTIAL. I like what you're listening to, and your blog in general. So I wanted to leave a comment and let you know that I'm in the audience :)

PS: try using a ziplock snadwich bag to keep your iphone dry.
hello nick! welcome to my running log! i had no idea anyone was reading but thanks for letting me know you are. thanks for the ziplock tip - i will try that.
ReplyDeletei do think music is essential. i tend to run in an urban area and it's suggested that you don't wear headphones, but i make sure i'm very aware of cars and bikes at intersections. what kinds of music do you listen to when you run?

hi nick,
ReplyDelete8k is too far for me. i don't think i have the patience to run that long. i do like running in the rain. good thing as it's supposed to rain on my race day this weekend. i looked into the new radio dept. album and it reminded me of a band called the ocean blue i listened to a lot in college and forgot about until now (thanks for the reminder). you pegged me a little young age wise (bless you). what other kinds of stuff do you like to listen to when you run?
