• what i listened to when i ran: nin- a warm place, regina spektor - samson, elliott smith - the biggest lie, ben folds five - smoke, ben folds five - raindrops keep falling on my head, no doubt - hella good.
• comments: tried to like "smoke" and found it quite tolerable. "raindrops", however, made me break into a huge smile when i heard the first notes. i keep finding new levels of personal meaning in "samson" - each time i think i see the whole picture, i find something new to see when i hear it. "the biggest lie" is still one of my all-time favorites, expecially lyrically. i'm really starting to dislike running. felt good when i got home but i've got so many other things going on in my life i'm starting to think about moving on. i get to listen to music in my car driving to work now. let's see what happens.
