- comments: it was really weird to listen to that last song running through the tunnel at the stadium and doing a lap to the finish line. i'm sure "victors" or something was playing but i really just wanted to hear what was on MY ipod. i'm so glad i brought it to the race because i would have been miserable without it. i ran into my friend during mile 2, she passed me and finished a few minutes before me, but she had a water bottle ready for me at the end of the finish line :) hubby and kids were there on the course, which was fun, because there were very few spectators as it was really chilly. decided to wear my long sleeved guster shirt and it worked out well. glad it's over. it will be interesting to see what happens now that my work schedule has changed and what that does to my weekly mileage.
