- run: 3.1
- time: 32.37 min
- temp: 64
- road conditions: wet, but not rainy
- aches/pains: back a little
- what i listened to when i ran: classic rock blared from random houses on the route, parents encouraging their kids, a couple of yay mommies from my own!
- comments: it was more than amazing to share my first race with my family. i'm so impressed with the hubby for herding the kids to different spots to cheer me on and wait for me at the finish line. i'm a lucky gal :)
Hey Kristen, glad your race went well on the weekend. I'm thinking of entering a 10k this weekend. Its the Sun Run here in Vancouver, so there would be a lot of people....something like 10,000? Might be interesting experience to run in such a large field. Not sure if I want to do it though...its kind of expensive ($45). It would be my first race. What do you think?
ReplyDeleteListening to lately: the last Tiesto album: Kalidescope
oh i was wrong about the number of participants in the sun run...its around 59,000! pretty big
ReplyDeletethat's big, but i think it would be pretty cool that way! i'd go for it, expecially if some of that $45 goes to some worthy cause. but i'm thinking i saw this kind of late. so, did you run it? very curious now.

i went for it! it was today. pretty crazy that many people! but lesson learned: i signed up for the wrong group and ended spending way too much energy getting around slow people...next time i should be in the next fastest group.
