  • run: 5.2 mi
  • time: 50 min
  • temp: 55
  • road conditions: hilly, sunny, yet cool
  • aches/pains: l side of my waist
  • what i listened to when i ran: george harrison - what is life, elvis costello and burt bacharach - god give me strength, elliott smith - don't go down, saturday looks good to me - alcohol, guster - center of attention, the morning benders - when we're apart, bf5 - evaporated (with hidden track), black moth super rainbow - born on a day when the sun didn't rise, hotel lights - run away happy, josh ritter -change of time, ben folds - not the same, elton john - harmony, fiona apple - parting gift.
  • comments - i missed the turn on madison because i wasn't paying attention, just trying to make it up the hill, so i turned on davis. missed the victory arch again, but ended up going over 5 miles. i felt it, too. i'm seeing that after a while, i just tune into the music and keep plodding away. swayed along with "harmony" while waiting for traffic to cross the street. i'm finding that getting out when i know it's going to be a challenge is harder, but i'm still able to run around the block with the boy and girl who are waiting for me when i get home.
